Hi guys,

I would like to buy a 8051 development kit.  Do you guys have any good recommendation for me?  Where I can get one and What is the manufacturer?  Please advise, thank you.

Hi Honford,

Are you still in Hong Kong?

You can buy 8051 experiment board in the club.

There are mainly two experiment boards provided by the club

namely MTB05 and MTB06.

I tried both boards but I personally prefer MTB06 as it is cheaper

and it include a standard 4x4 keypad which MTB05 hasn't.

You may also consider the KMK Smart Electronic Kit.

Hi Eddy,

No, I am back to Canada.  But I didn't buy the development kit for 8051.  You said there are two experiment boards from the club.  you mean they are make by the club or they buy them from somewhere else?  Do you have information for the boards (website or manual)?  I would like to take a look on them.  I may ask my brother in HK to buy one and ship to me if they are worth. Please advise, thank you.
